Introduction to Agility!
is for dogs that have basic obedience skills. In our class you and your dog
will become familiar with all the basic Agility equipment, (chute, tunnel,
teeter-totter, table, A-frame, tire, weave poles and jumps) and learn
Targeting, Back Chaining and run short sequences. The class will be limited
to six dogs so that each dog gets the maximum time working.
The Instructor is Pat Geske. Pat started out as an assistant Obedience
trainer at this facility almost twenty years ago when it was known as the
Palatine Canine Center. Since then she has attained numerous titles and
competed in many Top Twenty Events hosted by the Doberman Pinscher Club of
America. Her latest dog, Ch Ravenswoods WWW Dot Com UDT, MX, MXJ competed in
the Obedience Top Twenty in 1999 and was a finalist in the 2000 and 2001
Agility Top Twenty's. Dot is the first Champion UDT Doberman in the history
of the breed to attain the MX and MXJ Agility titles.
